Graduation Pictures!

So graduation. I have a B.A. in Media Arts and Design now. It rained during graduation, but since it was sunny at the time they had to decide whether to go with the rain locations or not, we still had our ceremony in the rain. I graduated within a college that contains quite a few schools, so I had to sit through English, Foreign Language, Anthropology, History, Communication, Political Science, Justice Studies, Religion, and Media Arts in Design, so I was thoroughly drenched by the end. It was still fun though, because I got to sit with some friends (they don’t go in alphabetical order – we just hand the announcer a name card as we go up and they read from that). The first several pictures here are from a few days before graduation (the sunny, dry pictures). The last 3 are from graduation day, so I’m quite wet. After graduation, I went to my friends’ grad party and played ninja and sat around and talked for a few hours. After that, I went to their house and just sleepily watched them play video games until about 11pm, cherishing the time with them. Sigh. I’m going to miss it.

As I mentioned yesterday, the dress is via Anthropologie (on sale for $40). The belt is from Target.

I totally splurged on my graduation dress as well (Yea, I consider $40 splurging haha), and it was TOTALLY worth it. Feeling beautiful made the day feel that much more special, and I had MULTIPLE random strangers stop me outside of my graduation and ask me wear I got my dress. That equals EXTRA special.

I LOVE this dress, and if I didn’t know it was from Antrhro, I TOTALLY would have asked so I could scoop one up myself :)

    Congrats on graduating!!!

$40 is actually a splurge for me, too. My friend had to talk me into it.

Thanks for the congrats! Now to find a job! :)
